Designed specifically for local Deep Ellum Artists located in the 75226 zip code who are beginning their career in the art world, make handcrafted artisan goods, and who are getting started exhibiting and selling their artwork at festivals/venues.
Accepted applicants will pay a lower booth fee of $350 (vs $700) and have a professionally installed artist pavilion provided.
To preserve the integrity of this program designed for early-career artists and artisans, qualifying applicants are required to apply only to the Emerging Artist & Artisan-Makers Program. If applications are made to both the emerging artist/maker program and standard festival fine artist program, the standard festival fine art application will be used.
The Arts Festival reserves the right to pre-screen and research emerging artists & artisan-makers to ensure fit for this category.
Eligible Media: All artwork must be original work executed by the artist participating in the show. Works produced commercially or from commercial kits or molds are not eligible. Artists must be present with their work for the entire Festival.
Jury Fee: Waived.
Booth Fee: $350.00 - Upon receipt of an acceptance email, the selected artist is required to make payment of $350.00 per booth space. All monies are deposited upon receipt.
Electricity will be provided to all exhibitors at no additional charge (5 amps per exhibitor, 200 watts).
Location and other special requests will be handled on a first-in, first-served basis determined by the dates exhibit fees are received.
